Welcome to (possibly) My final blog! I will do Harry Potter Part 3 today.  Let’s get started!

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: Harry is with the Order of the Phoenix, a group of Aurors (a Dark wizard catcher) fighting against Voldemort. He is having strange dreams about… There is a door at the end of a silent corridor, and it’s haunting Harry Potter’s dreams. Why else would he be waking in the middle of the night, screaming in terror? Sorry, that was on the book jacket and I memorized it. His view is actually from Voldemort! Voldemort hacks into Harry’s brain and one night Harry dreams of Sirius Black being tortured! Harry tries to go save him, but this is all fake! Voldemort set up a trap to get him the prophecy. If Voldemort (or anyone) breaks the prophecy, it will tell you how to destroy Harry Potter. Only the person who it belongs to can take it from its shelf, so Voldemort leads Harry into a room full of prophecies. Of course, Harry’s curious so he takes the prophecy, but little did he know, there were an army of Death Eaters (Voldemort’s workers) waiting to snatch the prophecy to give to their master. During the fight: Neville breaks his nose, Hermione becomes unconscious, Ginny breaks her ankle, Ron’s mind transforms into the mind of a 2-year-old, and Luna Lovegood also becomes unconscious. Then, the Order of the Phoenix comes to the rescue, and… BELLATRIX  KILLS SIRIUS BLACK!!! But during the fight, the prophecy breaks, and no one hears it. Do the students make it out alive? Yes. This whole blog is a spoiler. You shouldn’t be surprised.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: Harry doesn’t think that he will take potions this year, but he does. The school lends him a book, but it is actually the Half Blood Prince’s book, in which he scribbled a bunch of notes that makes Harry the best in his potions class. Snape is the Half Blood Prince! Harry is taking lessons with Dumbledore. He is going through the pensive (allows you to watch memories) and seeing Voldemort’s childhood. He sees Voldemort asking a teacher about Horcruxs, which allow you to become imortal. Harry needs to destroy the Horcruxs to kill Voldemort. While Harry and Dumbledoor are looking for Horcruxs, Dumbledore becomes weak. When they return to the school, Death Eaters are all over the grounds! Snape is actually working for Voldemort, so he… KILLS DUMBLEDORE! It is very sad. There is a funeral, and that is the end of this blog.

Hi everyone and welcome back to Doggie Days! Last post, I did the summary of books 1 and 2, and today I’ll do books 3 and 4. Let’s begin.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: All over the news is Sirius Black. Everyone thinks he is a murder and killed 13 people in 1 curse. There is a new Defense Against Dark arts teacher at Hogwarts. Professor Lupin. Hermione also got a new cat, Crookshanks. He is always trying to capture Ron’s rat, Scabbers. That is because Harry’s dad’s friends are all Animagi, which means they can turn into animals. They wanted to be because Lupin was bit by a wearwolf when he was younger, and it’s dangerous to be a human near a wearwolf, because when they transform, he/she may bite you. It took them many years to figure out how, but James Potter could turn into a stag, Peter Pettigrew (Wormtail), can transform into a rat, and Sirius Black, can turn into a large, black dog. Sirius and Crookshanks were working together. Crookshanks was always trying to get Scabbers the rat, because Scabbers is actually Wormtail! He was hiding because it was Wormtail that killed all those people and betrayed Harry’s parents, and Sirius is innocent and Harry’s godfather. The dementors are hooded creatures that guard Azkaban, a wizard prison. They are convinced that Sirius is the victim, and want to give them a kiss. That means they suck out your soul with their mouth, so you are just a walking nothing. They are ready, but Harry has to fight them off with a really hard spell. Can he do it? Spoiler alert! Yes.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: At Hogwarts, the Triwizzard Tournament is happening. You put your name in the Goblet of Fire, then it chooses 1 person from each school. The tasks were: Getting a golden egg from a dragon, saving someone you love from the bottom of a lake, and completing a maze filled with monsters to retrieve the Goblet of Fire. The Champions were Cedric Diggory from Hogwarts, Fleur Delacour from Beauxbatons, Viktor Krum from Durmstrang, and Harry Potter, also from Hogwarts. Mr. Crouch’s son drank a potion to look like Moody, the new Defense Against Dark Arts teacher. He then locked Moody up in a case, and because he was working for Voldemort, put Harry’s name in the goblet and made sure he won. He made the goblet into a porteky (a teleporter), and teleported Harry to Voldemort. He and Harry battle, and spoiler alert! Harry wins!

Hi everyone! Today I will be telling you the basic storyline of Harry Potter up until book 2. I will tell the rest in part 2 and 3! *DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE GOING TO READ BUT HAVEN’T YET. THIS IS A SPOILER!!!

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone: Harry Potter comes to Hogwarts for the very first time. His Defense Against Dark Arts teacher, Professor Quirrel, had Lord Voldemort on the back of his head (he always wore a wrap around his head) because Voldemort possessed him. Harry is on the Gryffindor quiditch team, and in his first game, Quirrel tried to curse him! The Sorcerer’s Stone is a stone that keeps you alive forever. Nicholas Flamel, the owner, was hiding it, but Quirrel wanted it to keep Voldemort alive. Hagrid, a half giant and the Hogwarts gamekeeper, has a 3 headed dog guarding the passage way to stone. Harry and his friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, have to get past Fluffy, the dog, and solve many puzzles to get to the stone before Voldemort. Spoiler alert! They win.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (my favorite!): Harry Potter is back at Hogwarts. He finds a sign written in blood: “The Chamber of Secrets is Open. Enemy of the Slytherin Heir, Beware.” Everyone thinks Harry is the Slytherin heir, even Harry himself. Harry hears weird sounds and words like “kill,” “I taste blood,” “I will kill you.” Harry finds out he can speak snake (Parseltongue), and has been hearing the slithering and words made by a basilisk. The giant snake has been traveling throughout the pipes of the school and petrifying some students (including Hermione!) and Ms. Norris, a cat. Harry finds a diary in a never-used girls bathroom haunted by Moaning Myrtle. The diary belongs to Tom Riddle. It’s magic: if you write in it, the ink disappears and Tom Riddle writes back. Harry speaks snake to get in the Chamber of Secrets, and meets Tom Riddle. There he learns that Tom is Voldemort when Voldemort was in school at Hogwarts. Tom’s full name (Tom Marvolo Riddle) can be scrambled into “I am Lord Voldemort.” Riddle can also speak snake, and commands the basilisk to kill Harry. But Fawks, Dumbledore’s (the school headmaster) phoenix, cries on Harry’s wounds to save him, because phoenix tears heal. Fawks also brings the Sorting Hat, a hat to sort the students into the Hogwarts houses. Harry pulls out a sword belonging to Godric Gryffindor, one of the founders of Hogwarts. He kills the snake with the sword and stabs the magic diary with a snake tooth, killing Tom.

Fun fact: The Hogwarts houses were named after the school founders, Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff.
